Computer mouse designs have come along way since they were first commercially mass-produced for the retail market. The computer mouse went from being leashed on a cord to winning its freedom and becoming cordless. The technological and cosmetic advances didn't stop after the cord came off either.
The removal of the cord was the first hurdle to overcome, and next the focus seemed to shift to packing more functionally into a smaller streamline version of the computer device. After mouse functionally was improved upon, the designers and manufacturers began to focus on making the mouse trendy cool for youthful user.
