Laptop Vs Process Controller

The major debate between the two systems.

When you walk into a computer shop, the first question will be, "Do you want a Laptop or a process controller?"

The first thing to consider when going is do you want the portability of a Laptop or the dexterity of a PC. For everything there is a pro and a con, similarly there are good things and bad things about a laptop and a PC.

First Let's Look At the Laptop:

  • Pros: Portable/mobile (take it anywhere), multi-tasking (being able to do more than one thing).
  • Cons: Tiny screen, (if you're an avid gamer or non-stop surfer this can be quit irritating and can cause derogation in eyes), small keypad and dull navigation.
  • Quote: "I like lazing in bed with my Laptop in my lap".

Now for the Process Controller (PC):

  • Pros: Big screen, high quality LCD, more powerful than a laptop, cheaper, cheap repair.
  • Cons: Non-mobile.
  • Quote: “I like my PC and will not pay for an underpowered system”.

The Data Above Suggests That:

  • PC: Is for people who want to game, and need a more powerful system.
  • Laptop: Is for people who are on the go, or kids that want to take their little system everywhere.
