Make Your PC Run Faster 1

How to make your computer run faster in five easy steps!

Is your computer all of a sudden slowing down for no reason? Here are some things you can do you can do to make it faster.

  1. Did you recently add something to the computer? Like a program or something? Well if that is the case, then that is most likely the problem. With certain computers, like ones that were made from 2004 and before, were not meant to play media and editing. They were meant for internet browsing and word processing. Make sure you delete any programs that you think are causing the problem.
  2. Do you have too much clutter and programs you do not want anymore? Clean it out. Make sure you delete any programs that you do not want and are just sitting around taking up space.
  3. Use disk cleanup. Many people for some reason don't realize why their computer and internet is running slow. Most of the time it is because they don't clean out their temp files, recycle bin, temp internet files, history, cookies, etc. Disk cleanup makes it easier by cleaning this out all in one step. To do this, go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and Disk Cleanup. This will clean it all out and will definitely make your computer a little bit faster.
  4. This part can be used after disk cleanup. Do the same directions to get to Disk Cleanup, but instead go to Disk Defragmenter. This will clean up some more files on your computer.
  5. Finally, and best of all… Go to Start, Run, msconfig, then go through everything and quit all of the processes that you don't want running in the background of your computer

I will be coming out another one of these. Hope your computer runs faster!
