Ubuntu is a free operation (Linux) based on Debian. With Ubuntu you can do almost everything in free, unlike in Windows Xp OS. Ubuntu is very easy to use it very stable. Ubuntu also support in many language and it can work on old computers (really old).
Installation
Ubuntu installation is very easy, It can take approximately 15min.
- Turn the disc into the computer, you will see a menu, click on "start or install Ubuntu".
- When it finishes loading you will see the OS (Operation System) from the disc, because that it will work slow. Click on install and it will ask you some question (language, time etc..).
When it finishes, reset the computer (it will ask you) and turn out the disc.
Use
In ubuntu you can do almost all the things like in Windows xp.
You have Office, Music player and more things that free, easy to use and work fast.If you need certain software to work on Linux you can install something similar or to use the software wine.
