Basic Window Troubleshooting

What to do when window program get hanged up.

Q: Why do Window Programs stop responding?

A: Window programs are software applications. Usually, these applications stop responding because of several possible reasons, such as software or hardware conflict between two programs, bug in the software or due to lack of system resources.

To recover from the non-responding program, click a combination of CTRL+ALT+DEL keys from the keyboard. A "Task Manager" program will be opened where one can click the "End Task" button to terminate the non-responding program. If window again appears, click the "End Task" button again until the program stops.

It is advised to save any work that has not been saved previously as it is more likely to be lost when End Tasking that program because there is no other way to reproduce that program instance.
