Screenshots can be helpful if you have a specific problem with your computer that would be hard to put into words, or as an illustration to show how to perform a certain function. It's like taking a snapshot of your computer screen that is saved as a .jpg. This makes the shot small enough to print out or use as an email attachment. |
- Have the page you want to take a screen shot of open on your computer.
- Press the PRINT SCREEN button on the keyboard.
- Click the START button on the bottom left of your screen
- Click on ALL PROGRAMS.
- When all programs opens, click on ACCESSORIES.
- Click the PAINT button.
- When paint opens, click EDIT on the top left of the page.
- When the dialog box opens, click PASTE. You will see the page you are saving appear in the paint window.
- Click FILE. When the dialog box opens, click SAVE AS. You can now save your page as a .jpg picture for easy use and clarity.
