User Bar Tutorial

Learning how to make a user bar.

1.We need to make a background:

1.1 Use these formats to make a new document:

1.2 Make a gradient overlay like this:

1.3 Then put an effect like this on your background:

2.Now we need a logo:

For example this one:

3.Put the logo where you want for example on the left side of the bar:

4.Now the cool part: the scan lines!

4.1 Ok first of all we need to make a new pattern:

4.1.1 make a new document with these formats:

4.1.2 then enlarge your document to the max and take the pencil tool.

4.1.3 Ok use your pencil to make something like this:

4.1.4 now go to edit->define pattern and name it like you want!

5.Now we have the scan line we need to apply them on the bar!

6.Click on the paint bucket and use these formats (ATTENTION make sure your logo layer is placed above your scan line layer):

7.Now the text. I always use this font:

Put a text on your bar with a stroke of 1px like this:

8.Now last step:

Make a border:

Go edit->stroke and use these settings:

Now ser your opacity to 20% and your done your final result should be something like this:
