On the market in this day and age are different chat software, programs that allow you to chat with other internet users from around the world, it helps you keep in contact with friends and family, plus a lot of them allow you to actually have a voice conversation with other users and web cam, this creates a multimedia chat session.
There is msn a Microsoft product, msn allows users to chat, talk, video and even send emotions to each other, emotions are little cartoon images that are animated or non animated.
Why use msn? Well you see msn is one of the most common used chat applications on the internet, there are hundreds of users out there that use this software, I find it better then the competition on the market. It allows me to easily access my hotmail email address and keeps me up to date when I receive an email, it does make like simpler.
There is a good alternative in the form of yahoo messenger, this like msn allows users to chat with one another, voice chat, web cam and even seen its own for of emotions. Yahoo is another big software that also as hundreds of users on the internet, there is a feature that msn doesn’t have, on yahoo you can access their chat rooms only through the messenger.
Also like msn it allows you to easily access your emails and will notify you when a new email arrives, the downside is not that many people you will know will use yahoo who live in England, yahoo seems to be bigger in America then over here.
The third one I will talk about is AIM, aim is a aol chat software, I have used it the once and as far as I could tell it lacks compared to the competition out there on the market, you can chat to other users, check your email, voice chat I believe you can web cam and I know you can access aol chat rooms through it, the downside is not that many people other then aol users use this program.
The last one I will mention is the newest out there windows messenger live, this is a brilliant program, its just like msn but with more features, it can do everything msn can do, but now you can add yahoo users, no need for yahoo messenger no more, share files easily with the new share folder option.
If I had to make the choice I would go for windows messenger live every time its by far the best option out there, don’t believe me go and give it a try.
