How to extract a IP from a dreamcast game

A guide on how to extract the ip address from a dreamcast game for use with emulation

IP CD explorer is a very useful tool in the world of dreamcast emulation; it will allow you to rip the IP address from a dreamcast game image that you can then use for patching the game.

Lets take a look at the software, the image below is how the software should look when first opened.

The first step is to tell the software to look in the right place for the IP address, this is very simple. Go to where the arrow points and tell it to look at the F DRIVE (or what ever letter your daemon tools drive is lettered) it might be called STEALTH DVD this is normally the third option down.

Once you do this the software should look something like this image above, please don’t worry if it doesn’t match perfectly, the next step is to click extract do not change any options they are perfect for taking the IP.

Once you click extract you should see an image like the one below, select the place you wish to save the file, DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME and leave the save type blank, and then you’re done!
