Bosskey 2.0 is a great program. It is used to switch between different "Desktops."
If you do not have this program it is downloadable from here.
Once you have clicked on Bosskey 2.0, a small window will pop up. It allows you the top box allows you to change the hotkey to show the window. If you choose a hotkey with the number pad numbers, be aware on NUMLOK. If it is on when you set the hotkey, then it has to be on for it to work. The second box allows you to set a hotkey for switching between "desktops." You can now go to the middle part where it says "Always display windows containing the text in their title." Type the a name of a program you wish to be shown when the hotkeys are pressed. Then click "Add." If you don't click "Add," the setting won't work. You can also remove old names with the "Remove" button. After you have finished, click OK and try it out. Open several programs including the ones you chose not to hide. Magic has worked before your eyes!
Sometimes a defect may form. A ghost shadow may be visible when used. Go to the window with the shadow and close it then reopen it and it should be back to normal.
