Repairing Corrupted Files

Repairing corrupted “Excel” and “Word” documents

If we can't open “Excel” document, we can easily restore it.

1. Start “Excel”. Press FILE, after that OPEN.
2. In new window find corrupted file. Don't press open yet, press the pointer and select OPEN AND REPAIR.
3. In new window press REPAIR.
4. If document opens, save it. If not, do 1-3 steps, and press EXTRACT DATA.
5. In new window press CONVERT TO VALUES. Then press CLOSE. If document didn't open, do 1-4 steps and press RECOVER FORMULAS.
6. “WORD”

If you want to repair “Word” documents, just do 1-2 steps of repairing “Excel”.

Repairing MP3

If you can't open MP3 music, use “MP3 repair tool”.

1. First you have to download “MP3 repair tool”. Go to MP3rt and press download.
2. After downloading, install.
3. Start “MP3 repair Tool”.
4. Now you have to choose which files you want to fix.
5. Select all files and press repair. Now all your files are repaired.

Repairing movies

If a movie doesn't open, “ASF-AVI-RM-WMV repair” can help.

1. Download this program from repairvideo.com and install it.
2. Start “ASF-AVI-RM-WMV repair”.
3. Press ADD FILE. In new window select files, which should be repaired. Then press open.
4. Press REPAIR.
5. In new window select ADVANCED MODE and press OK. Wait until your files will be repaired.

Repairing “Outlook Express”

If “Outlook Express” doesn't work, you can repair it.

1. Start “Outlook Express”. Press TOOLS then OPTIONS.
2. Select MAINTENANCE and after that press STORE FOLDER.
3. In new window press on the row with right mouse button and select SELECT ALL. Press CTRL+C. Close all windows.
4. Press START, after that RUN. Press CTRL+V. Then press OK. In new window press on the FOLDERS.dbx with right mouse button and select rename. Now write FOLDER.old. Now you can use “Outlook Express” again.
